Staying local to celebrate the 4th? You won't be disappointed! There are a TON of events to choose from all around Delco. Check them out below - and tell 'em Macaroni Kid sent ya!


 Wednesday, July 3  

What: Upper Darby Township Independence Day Fireworks Show
Where: 69th Street Recreation Area
Details: Show will begin at approximately 9pm.

  Thursday, July 4  

What: The Great Bike Races on Independence Day
Where: Downtown Swarthmore
Details: The Great Bike Race begins at 8:30AM on Park Avenue (near the intersection with South Princeton and Harvard)! Bring your bike (decorated for Independence Day if you want), your helmet, and your fastest legs to compete for ribbons and year-long bragging rights. No registration is required. Show up and listen for your age group!

  

What: Fourth of July
Where: Academy Park High School
Details: Sharon Hill will celebrate the Fourth of July with a Two-Mile Fun Run, starting at 8 a.m. The run will be followed by a Baby Parade at 9:30 at the field. A parade will begin at noon at the field.

  

What: July 4th Parade
Where: Prospect Park
DetailsThe 2024 parade assembles on Baltimore Ave at Amosland Rd (parallel to the RR tracks).  

  

What: Springfield Township Presents - 4th of July Parade
Where: Veteran's Memorial Park
Details: The parade will kick off at 9:00AM and will end at Veterans Memorial Park with activities to follow.

  

What: 4th of July Celebration
Where: Triangle Park
Details: Rutledge 4th of July celebration will begin at 9:30 a.m. at Triangle Park, followed immediately by the judging in various categories.

  

What: Independence Day Celebration
Where: Park Square
Details: Happy July 4th!

 Saturday, July 6  

What: Ridley Park Independence Day Celebration
Where: Borough of Ridley Park
Details: Save the date for the 2024 Independence Day Celebration for Ridley Park Borough. 

  

What: Fireworks
Where: Clifton Heights
Details: Due to construction of the new middle school, fireworks will only be viewable from neighborhood homes.
